grrrlvirus: i just want to take a second to say: i fucking love rihanna and i am so proud of her. fuck the grammys and her abusive ex. i want to take a second to acknowledge her. for being talented, brave, strong. for saving her own life. for continuing to create empowering and expressive music in an industry that did not and does not support her as a survivor and that continues to support her perpetrator. for having the courage to go to the grammys despite their support of her perpetrator. for not being afraid to discuss domestic violence and rape in her songs and music videos despite the stigma attached and the backlash she has received. i fucking love rihanna. and i don’t want the violence done to her to eclipse how amazing SHE is. so here’s to rihanna, i’ll drink to that!
